Alex Eagle X J.Crew button-up shirt in pinstripe

At this price point, I would have expected better quality. I found the fabric to be very thin--flimsy and wrinkle-prone. Especially the collar. Maybe if I starch it it will help. If you do go for it anyway, the sizing is NOT oversize, it is body skimming. I have a 30" waist, 36" bust and usually get an 8 in J Crew shirts. The fit is TTS.

I went on an alex eagle buying spree during one of JC's many great sales which included this pinstripe button-up shirt to wear with the matching denim jacket and slacks and chinos. Before it arrived I had a little buyer's remorse as I felt that I may have purchased too much, and additionally was unsure about sizing as TTS can mean different things to different people, lol, but when it arrived and I put it on I couldn't believe how perfectly well the size 8 fit. (5'4", 146#). This shirt is so well tailored which is not evident by the photos and the cotton is a great weave. This is the type of shirt one grabs to wear with jeans, pants or a beautiful skirt, which thanks to JC I have many. I hope J.Crew. an alex eagle continue their collab. The line is classic and polished yet groovy.

Good quality shirt. Very nice sleeves that are just the right width. This piece is versatile and worth purchasing.
