My Tips Regarding this Dress for Hourglass Frames
1 day agoThis dress is beautiful. When I opened the mail bag, I was not excited about the stripes. Once I put the dress on, I changed my mind. It does run small for hourglass frames like me. After reading some reviews, I decided to order a size up. It fits exactly like it fits on the model. I usually wear size 6 or size 8p. I ordered a size 10p, and the fit is great. I suggest everyone with an hourglass frames to size up.

Just misses the mark
3 days agoI like multiple things about this dress. The length, fabric, and embroidery is wonderful. The embroidery adds a twist to what could be seen as another shirt dress. What I don’t like is the oversized sleeves and I generally like a puff sleeve, but when combined with a slimmer bottom, they seem extra puffy. For me to get the correct fit, the top was a little larger for the hip area to fit.

Size up but wear all spring!
4 days agoThis dress runs smaller than it looks, but once you get the right size you will be so happy you found it! I’m pregnant so I expected to size up from my normal 00 to a 0 or a 2 but I left with a size 4. I think if I wasn’t pregnant I would still have wanted a 2 because the hip area is kind of narrow and the 0 would have shown panty lines.

Great eyelet hem, Puffy sleeves overpower
4 days agoI was excited to find this Shirtdress online with the beautiful eyelet detail at the hem. The fit was great in my usual size. Unfortunately, the short sleeves were too puffy and looked schoolgirlish which took away from the look so I returned it.

Adorable! But wrinkles
6 days agoI have been so excited to get this dress and waited until I could try it on in store. I'm 5'5 and 125lbs and got a size 2. It's a little snug around my hips if I sit down, but my main issue is how much the material wrinkles when I sit. It's such a cute dress, so I will keep it, but I did debate if I should return it. Maybe wait to buy it on sale!

Cute dress! Almost nailed it!
1 week agoLove the colors, stripes and embroidery. Ordered my normal size 6 and while the fit in the top was correct/good, I agree with others that the cut is a little small through the hips, which makes the volume in the sleeves feel somewhat out of place. I also found the black bandana print to be slightly smaller than the blue stripe, so if in between sizes may want to size up in the bandana print.
