Understated and Stunning
March 3, 2025This is the world's most gorgeous sweater dress. The sophisticated cut, lightweight cashmere, and rich color are head-turningly beautiful, yet the dress overall is so understated. I felt completely stunning--tasteful, feminine, elegant, inconspicuously sexy--wearing this to a marriage vow renewal ceremony with a no-dress-code dress code. I find the capaciousness of post-COVID attire vexing, and I want to look and feel beautiful without seeming ostentatious. This dress is perfect for these moments, and I'm so glad I made the purchase. About the shoulder pads: They were too much for my frame, so I just cut them out and tacked the sleeves back in place with one stitch. If you are on the fence about the dress and worried about the shoulder pads, don't let them deter you! They are probably really flattering for some figures and easy to remove if they don't work for you.

Ridiculous shoulder pads
January 13, 2025This dress has shoulder pads, which is completely unnecessary and totally unflattering. I personally don't like or need shoulder pads in any garment, but they are especially unflattering on this dress, which is a very light and delicate cashmere. The pads show and they make the dress fit very awkwardly. The material on this dress is pretty thin, so everything shows and it is not very forgiving. Returning this.
