Runs large, hits funny at the waist
August 20, 2021I bought this as a travel dress based on other reviews and recommendations. I usually wear a M in JCrew and ordered a M even though everyone said runs large. I am actually glad that I did order the M however because the top portion of the dress does seem to be cut short and does not hit my natural waist. I am petite 5'2 and do not have a long torso. A Small would have probably had a better fit with less fabric in the skirt, but I think the waist would have been even shorter? I got the black and was hoping to dress it up for dinners with a black jacket but it looks way to bulky with all the extra fabric in the skirt. It is very pretty fabric, I just wish it fit me better.

Love the swish!
June 6, 2021I purchased the black dress on deep discount. It’s terrific. I love the swish of the top layer. It’s going to be fun to dance in this dress at a wedding this early Fall. Lots of detail. Well-made.

May 20, 2021Gorgeous dress, can be dressed up or down, very delicate and pretty. I am 5'9" 135 lbs and bought a size S. It is comfortable and a bit loose.
