Elsie patent leather pumps with cross strap

I liked these. Admittedly I just wore them to work, where I sit for most of the day, but they weren't too bad comfort-wise. There is toe cleavage but I am fine with that/like it. Usually 8 with flattish feet, bought an 8.

Bought my normal 8M and I would say it fits but: 1. The toe area runs a bit narrow and idoesn't fully cover your toes. I have a regular 8M foot with pointed shape toes. Four of my toes showed cleavage. There's also a gap between the tops of my toes and the shoe so while toe cleavage is showing you are also showing this very obvious gap. The leather is very hard so there is a squeeze that hurts my big toe. 2. The cross straps: the strap that crosses on top is movable and has holes for adjustment, the bottom strap is not. I buckled at the first hole for maximum length but even with that the strap was still too tight while the bottom strap bunched up under the top strap. I have a low instep. It was slightly uncomfortable but could hurt more the longer you walked. Heel: covered and felt sturdy. Overall: the size 8 M was the right length for me but the toe was slightly narrow and then that weird cleavage and gap issue were just too many negatives for me to recommend this shoe.

This is a pair beautiful shoes and style. I actually bought the black color and snake print. It fit well, except one of the inner strips is not adjustable which really cut into your foot. I wear 6 1/2 always and some arch. I don’t think it’s the size problem tho. If you have very flat feet might work.
