Cocoon coat in Italian stadium-cloth wool with Thinsulate®

Second coat from Jcrew and I really like them, quality, true color, good length. Love both of them.

I’m not one to review every single piece of clothing I purchase but I was very motivated to write a review for this coat for two reasons: one, it is so beautiful in person so if you’re hesitating do yourself a favor and just buy it, you won’t regret it. Two, I wasn’t sure which size to pick since all the reviews seem to contradict each other. I am a solid size 4 in all my JC coats and blazers but the oversized look and other reviews scared me into thinking I might need to size down. I followed the suggested size (which was my normal size 4) and I’m glad I did!! It fits perfectly, and a size 2 would’ve definitely been too tight for any layers during the winter. For reference, I am a 5’2” and 130lbs

Two of my colleagues have this coat and I loved the look and knew I had to get one for myself. I had wanted a nice quality coat that looks great and is warm that I can wear to work and this one fit the bill. It is great during the chilly fall days and beginning of winter chills when I have to stand outside with my students. I bet it will also be fantastic in the spring when lighter clothes are worn as well. It makes me look and feel more professional as well.

Beautiful green color, very thick and great quality of wool material. Very classic style. Excellent quality and I highly recommend this coat. Fits a little on large side.

Impossible to find the perfect size online. You have to try it in person.

This coat is warm without being bulky. It runs true to size/slightly large. I love the green color since it's both neutral and adds some personality.
