770™ Straight-fit jean in Japanese selvedge denim
We source denim from some of the world's most renowned mills, create exclusive washes and build our jeans to feel good from the moment you put them on. For this pair, we went to the Kaihara mill in Japan, one of the largest and best-known denim makers in the world. In more than 50 years of production, Kaihara has patented machines to improve the weaving process and developed new techniques that blend American and Japanese dyeing traditions. We made this pair in a broken-in wash in 100 percent cotton (note the selvedge details when you flip the cuffs, a sign of denim that's meant to last). Great pair of lighter wash jeans
July 22, 2022Over all I'm very pleased with this pair of jeans. As some others have mentioned, they did run a little narrow around my thighs, but nothing skin tight. Also, to the other reviewer who mentioned that they are only "half" selvedge, that is incorrect. I assume you are referring to the fact that only the outer seam has the actual selvedge, that is the way it's supposed to be, so these are in fact "full" selvedge. Just wanted to clear that up for any other prospective buyers.

fINALLY A 770 LIKE THE OLD DAYS
July 12, 2022This is the ONLY jean I have been wearing for about 30+ years, Unfortunately the last 4-5 pairs that I have ordered have been all over the place, either too short, too big in waist, too small in waist, poor button construction, etc. But finally this style/pair is right on the money, Said that it took this many pairs to get to a real size 31/32 that is a real 31/32 size. I wish your darker, japanese heavier denim from 10+ years ago was still available. I have about 5 pairs, but are all too small for me now and pretty worn. tks, Robert
