Lovely style, poor quality material
January 6, 2026I was somewhat disappointed by the dress. The style is lovely but the material is so thin. I wasn’t expecting that at all. I continue to be disappointed by the quality of the clothing from jcrew in recent times. I have been an avid shopper for years and every year it gets worse. This dress is an example of the declining quality. Great style, very flattering on me but I just cannot get over the cheapness of the material.

If you dont have curves, this dress is for you
December 3, 2025Was very excited to order this dress but was dissapointed upon it's arrival. Its a very thin material. The lace and buttons were very detailed and added a nice touch. The color was nice too. People mentioned it ran small but it fit me perfect on top, the bottom was a bit different of a story however. While it is flowy and can work for larger bottomed girls - when you work there is a possibility it might expose your legs higher than you'd feel comfortable for a professional setting. Its the quality and fit for a beach cover up. But, at the price point I'm going to try and make it work as a less casual dress. We'll see if it makes me too uncomfortable-. In conclusion, the fit is for more straight bodied ladies. The length was great for my height.
