Ludlow Classic-fit unstructured suit jacket in English wool-cotton

The fabric is really something else, top quality wool soft with a little stretch just right for a more muscular build. For reference I bench 150kg+. I can wear comfortably and stylishly with few mods at all, which is unusual and nice! Unstructured gives a slightly casual look good for office days, in no way sloppy but not for a serious presentation. I had the waist and sleeves taken in a little - a lot easier than out/longer! I hope J Crew continues this fit and especially the unstructured style as I'll be back for more.

Looks and fits great. But a few pulls in the fabric either from shipping or how it was stored makes the jacket look really cheap and worn (I assumed I got a jacket that had been returned after being worn a few times, but the pockets still had their stitching). If I was making the purchase in person and could inspect the garment I'd absolutely purchase again.

When you want to dress it up just a bit, without being to formal or traditional, this is the suit. Pair it with some wingtips and head to the office, or some casual shoes and it’s perfect a night out. Fit is true to size.
