somewhat disappointing
February 9, 2021This is a decent, basic sweater. I bought two: the green and the orange/red. The fit is nice, the colors are great and the material is soft, but unfortunately, the quality of the yarn is not amazing. Even after one day of light use, the pilling on and under the arms was really noticeable. As a 30-year J.Crew shopper, I'm disappointed to see quality continue to decline. I have sweaters from years ago that hold up better and look nicer than the new ones I've purchased. Wish they'd return to their old standards for quality.

Great sweater but the watch out for pilling
January 4, 2021My husband loves everything about this sweater...except the pilling under the arms and at the waist. It's a shame that this beautiful sweater looses it's luster after having been worn just a few times.

Horrible Sweater
December 24, 2020Where is j.crew circa 2012? Where is ITALIAN MERINO WOOL. This new rugged merino is junk. Piles piles piles. Sweater doesn't hold shape. Collar is distorted. Awful. J.crew quality and design has been lacking for awhile now. I've been a loyal jcrew customer since 2000 but looks like I'll be moving on to a different brand.
