Lovely shirt!
May 21, 2023I love the asymmetric stripes. That certainly adds variation and contrast to the shirt. Quality is good. It's not heavy or stiff, but not thin either. It runs slightly larger than the size 8 I usually wear. I probably will wear it more in a casual way.

May 11, 2023First of all, when something is on sale, less than half price, etc., one should be aware that it may not be what you want. It's pretty, but I didn't care for the quality of fabric, and the size was too large. Since it was not returnable, I ended up giving it away. So be it....

May 8, 2023I think it’s no coincidence that the only reviews posted so far are from straight and slender wearers. I’ve been buying shirts from j crew for a few years and I’ve had no fit issues until now. Compared to my classic fit shirts, the hip is noticeably narrower. Maybe I should have anticipated this from the name of the shirt - garçon- but I don’t think we should need to speak French to buy a shirt from j crew. How about providing clothing measurements not just the body measurements like other companies do since my size is never carried in stores and returns aren’t free, then I might have known before. Since this was a final sale I’ll wear it unbuttoned over things but really JCrew, do better. I like the stripes though!

May 2, 2023I wish I had sized down to a 2, but I pushed the sleeves up and wear it oversized with bike shorts. I think the mixed stripes are so darling!
