Gorgeous, soft vest!
November 30, 2022This is such a wonderful addition to my wardrobe. I purchased the gray in a small and the lavender in a medium. Both fit fine—the medium just adds an extra bit of room for layering. I love the classic, vintage feel to this vest. I would love to see it offered in other colors such as navy or a cayenne. The fabric is extremely soft and luxurious!

cropped shell?
November 4, 2022I am a small-medium in J Crew tops, and I usually order size L in cashmere just for a more generous fit. The size large in this is sooo short that it should be called a cropped shell. I am only 5'8". If I size up to XL, I know the armholes will be too big. The short length makes the vest look cheap to me. Many J Crew items are now lacking the generous, rich look of the past. I understand that cropped can be a style statement, and I have those pieces in my closet, but here, it looks like J Crew is trying to save money by cutting 3 inches from the length.
