Broken-in chino pant in 1040 athletic fit

Hope this is helpful: my son purchased these pants and they look great right out of the dryer, great fit and most of all great style. Finally found the perfect chino.

I've worn J. Crew clothing for years, and they've changed a lot over the last few. Most things have gone to slim fit. Thankfully, these still fit very well and comfortably and are available in a normal cut. Not quite as awesome as the broken in chinos I got about over 10 years ago. They lasted nearly a decade and were super comfortable. Also, there used to be much more color selection with this style. Overall, I'm pleased and would recommend them.

I buy these for my 17yo son. He likes them. They fit him well. They always have his size. They make them in nice colors for the different seasons that my son enjoys wearing. They are good quality and hold up well. I buy them when there's a sale.

I have been buying these for sometime.I wear them almost daily. The perfect balance of classic and contemporary which is what j. Crew stands for in my book. But recently ordered 5 new pairs and so disappointed with new cut .Sending all back and start looking else where for chinos.

Please bring back the regular fit chinos. Not everyone wants slim fitting chinos. The regular fit were the best.

OK so I'm reviewing these pants for the girls. I've always loved the "borrowed from the boys" look So this time I did it. I actually borrowed from the boys. That said I cannot really say if they are true to size obviously. What I can say is the fabric is so soft and substantial. The comfort amazing. And I was absolutely obsessed with the color. Looks so cool turned up with a large cuff, white shirt, cute sandals and plenty of jewelry. So for reference I'm a size 8 sometimes 6 and a 31 waist fit with some room in the waist, I might have been able to fit a 30 but I have hips. Great pants I've already washed them and put them back on a few times. So well done J crew!
