Garment-dyed crewneck sweatshirt

I kept this sweatshirt because of its color. The garment-dye technique really gives a nice tone. I am short (5ft 1”, and also short-waisted) and the sweatshirt only reaches to top of my hipbones. Perhaps I should have gone one size up to S. I ordered an XS as always. Exchanging products from Europe where I live tends to take a long time, so I just decided to wear the sweatshirt with a shirt hanging out to get the illusion of extra length.

I love the style and feel, but if you are at risk of getting anything on this sweatshirt do not bother. I have a 15 month old at home which means I have to spot clean a lot of our clothes. Every place where I spot cleaned this sweatshirt was bleached out by my free and clear detergent. I bought the blue and pink and both have several bleached out spots on them now after only a couple washes each. Sizing also doesn't seem consistent, arms run short. I have one in xxs and xs and they appear to be the same size next to each other.

I love the weight of this sweatshirt. It isn’t heavy, perfect for layering or a slightly cool day. And the colour is pretty. I got the light pink and some of the reviews had said it was a bit peachy which I was hoping for. It isn’t. It’s light pink. But pale, not an awful bubblegum colour. The only part I don’t love is the fit. It’s a bit tight around my middle and a bit loose in the neck and shoulder/upper arm. I got XXS (I’m 5’ 1/2” and about 96 lbs) and after two kids my tummy isn’t the flattest it’s ever been and my chest is flatter than it used to be. So this fit is not great on me. But since it’s a sweatshirt I will keep it as a comfy layer with jeans or even over jammies. I was just hoping the fit would be more flattering so I could wear it out and still feel stylish.

The reviews are right. The peri color for some reason runs smaller than the pink color. I am 5'1" and 105 with a 32 C bust and I purchased the XS. I could have gotten a small or medium. The XS fits, but I would never put it in the dryer or it would shrink. I love this sweatshirt so much I purchased 4 bc of the sale.

These sweatshirts are so much better than I imagined they would be. I got the blue and the pink, and I love them both. The blue color was pretty true to the model pictures, but the pink was so much better. It's not a pale baby pink - it's warmer, like a washed out neon pink, closer to peach than lilac. The pink is my absolute favorite. I'm 5'8", 125lbs and purchased both colors in Small. They fit true to the pictures on me - not cropped, but not bum-covering. They hit exactly at my hip bones, like a shirt that actually fits. The sleeves are bracelet-length on me. The neck is a little loose, but it doesn't really bother me. I love the variations in color, especially along the seams where you can see the dye sitting a little differently in different places. These sweatshirts are casual, but they're just a little more special than an ordinary sweatshirt. 10/10, absolutely love.

I normally wear a 12 to 14 or large on top with this sweatshirt after reading the reviews I ordered a double XL. I'm glad I did for the slouchy comfy loose fit that I was going for, that fit the bill. I would have been disappointed had it been any smaller than it is. As it is it is a beautiful shade of pink with tiny bit of a Peach tint to it. It is a lightweight sweatshirt so not too bad for Arizona nights. If I had purchased it in my regular size it would have been much too fitted for what I wanted it to be.
