Washable merino wool half-zip sweater

The stitching came loose in the cuffs after one wash.

The seams on this sweater are very poor quality. The stitching on the seam under the armpit unraveled after wearing once. After sewing it up again myself ( bought as a Christmas present), now 1 week later the seam on the shoulder came undone ( see photo). Also, when the sweater arrived, the zip pulley was stuck upwards at an angle and doesn‘t budge. Very disappointed and dissatisfied with this purchase.

Exactly what I wanted to add versatility to my fall / winter wardrobe. It is light weight, and fits perfectly over a t-shirt or dress shirt.

Exactly what you’d expect. Paid less than $40 US Seems to be made in the exact same factory as similar cut BR sweaters. Nice product. Would give 5 starts if made thicker.

Please bring tall sizing back for merino and cashmere half zips!!! Love the merino wool sweater but at 6’5” I really need the tall version which J Crew offered in previous years. First, I'll say I do really like the look and styling of these quarter zip sweaters, but the quality is unfortunately poor. I purchased two, one black and one grey; after just two wearings, the black sweater showed considerable pilling around the neck and throat area. For anyone not familiar with 'pilling' it's sweaterballs, the annoying and unbecoming fuzzwads that develop on your sweaters. As for the grey version of this sweater that I purchased, the shoulder seam blew out upon my first wearing of it. And no, I am not the or an incredible hulk, I'm just a guy who likes to wear sweaters in the winter and while wearing this grey sweater I reached back from my desk towards a bookshelf and heard the sad sound of a seam exploding. I've taken the grey sweater to my tailor to see if he can repair the burst shoulder, though I'm not confident it will look right after the fix. Again, I'll say that these sweaters are of a fine style, but I cannot recommend buying one if you intend to wear it.
