9" linen short

Not the JCREW I remember many years ago. I have JCrew products that are 20 years old that are great!! This new stuff only lasts a few months. My shorts fit fine, they are definitely not see through as others say, but they already have holes from poor quality after just 4 months and not wearing too often. My wife noticed a hole in where the back pocket is, very bummed.

Fabric is slightly see through, you can wear dark underwear with it basically. Bought it online and didn’t expect it to be a stripe. Even the detail picture seemed to show a solid color. It’s still cute , just not what I expected when I ordered it for my husband. All said I’d probably order it again. Great for July/ August.

These are classy and stylish and comfortable (and VERY light for summer). As other reviewers have mentioned, the lighter colored ones ARE translucent. Depending on your skin color (darker skin would make the pockets and lighter underwear stand out) and the color of your underwear, this may or may not be an issue. Match the tone of your skin and you're good to go. I wear white briefs under these and you can't tell even in broad daylight unless you were right next to me and staring at my crouch (TMI, I know). Even then, probably not. Overall, a favorite and stylish staple for hot weather.

Way too small and linen is mostly transparent. Donation piece.

All my pants and shorts are size 33, but these run one full size smaller. Since the sale was final, I can't return them and wasted money.

I bought 3 pairs of these in different colors. All of them are completely see through. The pockets all show and whatever else. It's insane that that even made these. They won't accept them back cause they are finally sale. But they shouldn't be selling these to begin with. Just garbage. I won't shop at jcrew again after this bs.
