1940's vintage vibe
1 day agoThese wool slacks check a lot of boxes. Quality weave, ideal pleats, slimming cut (your bottom will look good) perfect length for us mid-height peeps. I'm 5'5", 140 and Size 6 is perfect...could probably do an 8 for any potential winter weight, or a modern slouchy-tailored look. Roomy and slenderizing, classy and fun. High waist is lovely with a belt and tucked it oversize top.

Best fitting J. Crew pants yet for smaller waist
1 week agoWhile I wasn't a huge fan of the fabric of the other arched trousers i ordered, I love the arched trouser in this lightspun wool fabric. The weight and color are ideal. The fit is perfect for me. Usually I have to get an 8 to fit my hips / thighs and get the waist taken in. With these, the 6 is a perfect fit no alterations required. I ended up ordering the matching jacket to make a suit. Leg is relaxed, but not super wide leg. It still looks professional imo and not oversized. I will order more if these pants for sure if they come out in more colors in this fabric.

please ake more high rise pants & in other colors!
1 week agoI love the high rise on these, because they fit my curvy figure well. But I don't love the pleats. Also would love to have other colors, especially to match the "ink" color lightspun wool suit.
