  • When using our prepaid label $7.50 will be deducted from your refund.
  • Multiple orders can be returned in the same package if returns are initiated for each order and all return packing slips are included.
  • Online and phone purchases can also be returned in store, in accordance with our policy.

Exchanges

We are pleased to now offer free exchanges. Click here to start an exchange for U.S orders and generate a free exchange label. Exchanges are limited to online purchases of the same style number and same color but a different size of that item. Exchanges exclude final sale, marketplace items, monogrammed items, and items paid for with loyalty points. Exchanges follow our normal return eligibility policy.

Unfortunately, we cannot offer exchanges for returned merchandise. Please return the item you wish to exchange for a refund in accordance with our return policy and place a new order for a replacement item.

U.S. Return Policy and Exchange Policy

J.Crew gladly accepts returns of unworn, unwashed, undamaged or defective merchandise purchased online or in stores for delivery that shipped to a U.S. address for a full refund or exchange within 30 days of original purchase. Return must be received and processed within 30 days to receive a refund to the original form of payment. You will receive an email confirmation when your return is complete.

For your convenience, online purchases may be returned to a J.Crew store. J.Crew merchandise cannot be returned to J.Crew Factory locations. Refunds will be made in the form of the original payment, unless we agree to credit a different payment type.

Items delivered by our Marketplace vendors must be returned directly to them by following the instructions enclosed in your package and will not be accepted at J.Crew stores or the distribution center. All monogrammed, personalized, lingerie, vintage, altered or final sale items cannot be returned or exchanged. Upon the return of an item, you will forfeit any rewards applied on that purchase.

Returning a Gift

  • In stores, requests to return or exchange merchandise received as a gift must be accompanied by a gift receipt. We will refund the purchase amount to a J.Crew Gift Card.

International Return and Exchange Policy
J.Crew gladly accepts returns or exchanges of merchandise purchased online within 30 days of original purchase. Final sale items cannot be returned or exchanged. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your international online purchase click here to initiate a return. Please allow an additional 48 hours after your package has been delivered before submitting your return request. Returns cannot be submitted until 48 hours post-delivery. If you choose to return an item, our e-commerce partner, ESW, will provide you with a refund of the original merchandise price and any duties and taxes originally paid on the item in the same currency and using the same exchange rate as your original order. Please note that you will still be responsible for any return shipping fees and original shipping charges.

J.Crew gladly accepts returns, in the country where purchased, of unworn, unwashed, undamaged or defective merchandise purchased in our retail stores for full refund or exchange within 30 days of original purchase. Online and Phone Orders
J.Crew Factory accepts returns of unworn, unwashed, undamaged or defective merchandise purchased online, by phone or in stores for delivery that shipped to a U.S. address for a full refund or exchange within 30 days of original purchase. J.Crew Factory merchandise cannot be returned to a J.Crew retail location. Orders also cannot be returned to J.Crew Factory locations in Canada. Refunds will be made in the form of the original payment, unless we agree to credit a different payment type. Requests to exchange merchandise received as a gift must be accompanied by a gift receipt.

Store Purchases
J.Crew Factory merchandise purchased in a J.Crew Factory store may be returned to any J.Crew Factory store location within 30 days of original purchase for refund or exchange. J.Crew Factory merchandise cannot be returned to a J.Crew retail location. Requests for refund or exchange of merchandise purchased by cash must be accompanied by the original receipt. Refunds will be made in the form of the original payment, unless we agree to credit a different payment type. Requests to exchange merchandise received as a gift must be accompanied by a gift receipt.
