J.Crew Online and Phone Orders

U.S. Return and Exchange Policy

J.Crew gladly accepts returns of unworn, unwashed, undamaged or defective merchandise purchased online, by phone or in stores for delivery that shipped to a U.S. address for a full refund or exchange within 30 days of original purchase. For your convenience, online and phone purchases may be returned to a J.Crew store. Refunds will be made in the form of the original payment, unless we agree to credit a different payment type. All monogrammed, personalized, lingerie, vintage, altered or final sale items cannot be returned or exchanged.

Marketplace

Items delivered by our Marketplace vendors must be returned directly to them and will not be accepted at J.Crew stores or the distribution center. To return your items, please follow the instructions enclosed in your package. You will receive a confirmation email once the Marketplace vendor has received your package and a refund has been processed.

International Return and Exchange Policy

J.Crew gladly accepts returns or exchanges of merchandise purchased online to any retail store in the country to which the merchandise was shipped. Final sale items cannot be returned or exchanged. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your international online purchase, email julie@jcrew.com, or ritsuko@jcrew.com for Japan customers, within 30 days of original purchase to initiate a return. Julie and her team will provide you with instructions on where returns should be shipped. If you choose to return an item, our e-commerce partner, UPS i-parcel, will provide you with a refund of the original merchandise price and any duties and taxes originally paid on the item in the same currency and using the same exchange rate as your original order. Please note that you will still be responsible for any return shipping fees and original shipping charges.

United Kingdom Customers

Orders shipped to the United Kingdom may be returned for a full refund or exchange within 30 days of original purchase to any of our UK retail stores, by emailing julie@jcrew.com or by calling +1 0808 234 3686 to initiate a return. If you choose to return an item, our e-commerce partner, UPS i-parcel, will provide you with a refund of the original merchandise price and any duties and taxes originally paid on the item in the same currency and using the same exchange rate as your original order. Please note that you will still be responsible for any shipping charges. However, if you cancel your order within 14 days under the Distance Selling Regulations, we will refund the purchase price of the items canceled and the delivery charges. UK statutory rights are not affected by our return policy. At this time, United Kingdom stores cannot accept returns of any international customer orders that are shipped to a destination other than the United Kingdom.

Hong Kong Customers

J.Crew gladly accepts exchanges of unworn, unwashed, undamaged or defective merchandise purchased in our Hong Kong retail stores within 21 days of purchase with the original receipt. Refunds and cross-border returns are not permitted. Requests to exchange merchandise received as a gift must be accompanied by a gift receipt. Undergarments, swimwear, eyewear, watches, or final sale items cannot be returned or exchanged.

Outside North America, we cannot accept cross-border returns. Requests for refund or exchange of merchandise purchased by cash must be accompanied by the original receipt. Refunds will be made in the form of the original payment, unless we agree to credit a different payment type. Requests to exchange merchandise received as a gift must be accompanied by a gift receipt. Online and Phone Orders

J.Crew Factory accepts returns of unworn, unwashed, undamaged or defective merchandise purchased online, by phone or in stores for delivery that shipped to a U.S. address for a full refund or exchange within 30 days of original purchase. J.Crew Factory merchandise cannot be returned to a J.Crew retail location. Orders also cannot be returned to J.Crew Factory locations in Canada. Refunds will be made in the form of the original payment, unless we agree to credit a different payment type. Requests to exchange merchandise received as a gift must be accompanied by a gift receipt.

Store Purchases

J.Crew Factory merchandise purchased in a J.Crew Factory store may be returned to any J.Crew Factory store location within 30 days of original purchase for refund or exchange. J.Crew Factory merchandise cannot be returned to a J.Crew retail location. Requests for refund or exchange of merchandise purchased by cash must be accompanied by the original receipt. Refunds will be made in the form of the original payment, unless we agree to credit a different payment type. Requests to exchange merchandise received as a gift must be accompanied by a gift receipt.

Please allow up to two weeks from the date you mail your item(s) back for your return to be processed—you will receive an email confirmation when complete.

Once you receive your email indicating your return has been processed, you can expect to receive your credit in 3-5 business days.

If you use our pre-paid return label, the cost of return shipping is $7.50 for any number of items and will be deducted from your refund. You may also choose to mail the item back using your own insured, traceable method.

We gladly honor a one-time price adjustment on full-price merchandise within seven days of the retail purchase or mail-order ship date if accompanied by the original receipt. Items not purchased at full price are ineligible for price adjustments.
