I love this trench coat. It is a great fit. I wore it on a recent vacation. It was comfortable to wear all day long. Highly recommend.

I bought this hoping it would resemble previous iterations of the “icon” trench coat. Unfortunately - and this is the trend in stores everywhere right now - it’s much longer than anticipated. For reference I’m 5’6”, and this coat hovers between lower shin and ankle. Otherwise the quality seemed very good. It’s a heavier coat than other icon trenches I’ve had before, though. Maybe owing to the length and overall more structure.

Rain flap is on the wrong side! The rain flap is designed such that when you button up the jacket all the way it comes over the top button location to stop rain from running off the shoulder down into the coat. It is on the wrong side in this case (check Burberry if you want to see the correct placement). Jcrew can do better because this version of a trench looks ridiculous.

Great color, fabric and drape, but this trench has a couple problems for me. First, it is NOT water resistant, which completely defeats the purpose of why I wanted a trench coat. Second, the sleeves are stupid short. Third, the waist is too high. I am 5’9” so maybe a tall option would have addressed number two and three, but they’d have to change the fabric to fix number one. So close, and yet a fail for me due to fundamental defects. Sizing seemed TTS with room to move and layer underneath without being too oversized.

Love love love! Such good quality!! For reference I’m 5’6, 26 inch waist and I bought the size small. I could’ve gone smaller but I wanted to either be able to wear a sweater underneath or go for that slightly baggy look. The coat has weight to it, which to me speaks to quality. This will remain in my closet for years and years to come.

I wanted to love this coat so badly. Silky lining and small details give this a luxurious feel. I couldn't get a great fit though and sadly had to send it back. I am 5'3" 116 lbs and a 0/2. Sometimes petite. I tried the petite 2 and found the sleeves to be uncomfortably short - but looking at the model, they also seem a bit short for her so maybe this is intentional. The regular 2 was almost to my ankles and was too oversized but sleeve length was good.
