1 week agoI thought I was going to love these but after exactly ONE use, the first pair has holes that have formed over my big toes. I got them on sale, so I'm not out a ton but would have returned them otherwise.

1 week agoThe product details are lacking 2 important pieces of information: material and country of origin. The wool blend is 91% Wool 7% Polyamide and 2% Elastane. The box I was given is labeled "Boot Socks" (not Crew Socks as pictured on the web page) and is also made in South Korea. I bought these Merino Wool socks about 2 weeks ago which has given me enough time to wear and wash them. They feel great! Far superior to all the cotton socks I've worn my entire life. They have all the great benefits of wool (moisture wicking, breathable, odor resistant), but that is where the compliments end. The pair I've worn this week has already begun pilling at the heel from the friction of slipping on shoes. There's little fibers littered on my bed and shoes. Today, I machine washed and tumble dried the pair on the lowest settings, and the fibers are beginning to fray. J.Crew also put their logo on the SOLE of the sock. It's like a vinyl sticker, and it disappeared from a day of walking. I keep them in the original packaging, so I don't accidentally put them with my cotton socks and destroy them in the wash.
