Selvedge chambray shirt

The shirt was a decent quality however too long, too fitted in the waist area and made with a very stif material. Didn’t like the collar buttons at all. It wasn’t what I expected.

I purchased this shirt a few years ago and loved it, so I decided to get another. It arrived and was no way near the quality of my original shirt (or the men's version). Itchy, Scratchy and color was all wrong - not the soft blue.

After searching for a great chambray shirt, this one is a great find! The color is perfectly versatile. The quality is nice and doesn’t wrinkle badly even though it’s 100% cotton. The fit is flattering for both layering and wearing on it’s own. I also love the way the collar buttons are hidden underneath—such a great detail! I’m 5’2 and 110 lbs, and a size 0 was just right!

I decided that I must have the perfect chambray shirt. The number one criteria was softness. The second two were cut and color. This shirt holds up pretty well under the cut and color criteria, but it is NOT that soft.....so the search continues, although I am happy to have this addition to my wardrobe.

This shirt exceeded my expectations in every way! The fabric feels amazing and I bet it will get better and better with time. The fit is nice, not too square or bulky. Great construction. This shirt reminds me of how clothes used to be (and should be) made. A classic. Not a throw away product. Thanks, JCrew!
