Fleece-lined lodge moccasins

These moccasins are EXACTLY as described: suede leather upper, rawhide leather laces, a fleece lining that covers the entire inside of the moccasin, a minimal but grippy crepe sole for walking around the "lodge", and they are clearly marked as imported (from china). Some of the low-rating reviews posted here are a bit misleading. The reviewers seem to have misunderstood the description. There is an apparent misunderstanding of the term "fleece". Fleece is a synthetic fabric made of polyester that is commonly used as a vegan substitute for fur or wool. If you want some slippers with real animal fur or wool lining the inside, look for the words "wool" or "fur" in the description, not "fleece". The fleece lining of these moccasins is lofty, soft and warm--just as described.

Very disappointed with my moccasin slippers. Started off very comfy but by second week completely flattened out and uncomfortable. It's January and I'm already in a different pair of slippers.

I bought these as a Christmas gift. When he opened them he couldn't wait to put them on. He said he really like them.

I wanted to purchase some slippers as a Christmas present for my husband - they needed to look like shoes because that's what he likes to wear around the house. He loves these and says they are comfortable and fit well.

I gifted two pairs of these for Christmas under the impression that they were high-quality slippers. I was seriously disappointed when I looked at them this morning and saw they were lined with cheap polyester, which J.Crew defines as "sherpa fleece." Had I not already given these as gifts I'd be returning them; truly poor quality that one might expect from a discount/dollar store. Don't waste your money on these.

I've been wearing J Crew moccasins for several years and this is my third pair. Some people may use them as slippers, but I wear them everywhere, inside and outside, to class, around campus and almost anywhere else (except in rain or snow). They're tough, well made and last a long time. A great product, highly recommended.
