Pull-on linen skirt

It’s a comfy and cute skirt that looks great tucked in, however it does run large.

I was so excited for this skirt but unfortunately the shape is off — it’s too tight all the way down so it’s almost impossible to walk in. It’s a pencil skirt with absolutely no give so I can’t even wear it. The linen is a great fabric but if it wasn’t final sale I would send it back. I usually love J Crew clothes so I was really disappointed.

This truly is the perfect linen skirt complete with pockets. It hits me right above the knee, is lined, and the linen doesn’t wrinkle as badly as some of my other linen items. The color is bold and the elastic waist stays put-it doesn’t roll down.

I love to wear skirts, especially during the summer, but it's been a challenge to find one that isn't too short and revealing or too long and frumpy. This linen skirt from J. Crew is absolutely perfect! It comes to just above my knee (5'7"), has a comfortable 2" elasticized waistband and a kick pleat in back in case you want to take some long strides. It also has on-seam pockets and it's lined -- I ask you, what's not to love??? I'm between sizes so went with the XXS which fits my 26" waist perfectly. I liked it so much that I purchased it in 2 colors (black and aqua), and may go back for the orange as well!

I have worn this with sandals, sneakers and am looking forward to more dressy shoes after SIP is done. With a sweater, sweatshirt or t, I feel stylish and comfortable regardless if I am walking the dog or lounging on the couch. Well done, J.Crew!
