Fits big
Nice coat but weird fit
February 24, 2021Im 5’2” and about 115 pounds, I ordered an XS, and thought when received this coat I’d have to have it taken up. But it’s pretty much a total tailor coat. The arms are huge, the back is big but the waist is right on. It’s also super long, which is the one thing I expected. So it’s only ok for the price ....because the tailoring will cost at least $150

February 11, 2021I was looking for a new camel jacket for quite some time and was pleasantly surprised by this coat! Classic enough for every day but with updated style! Great versatility; can be worn with jeans and sweater or over a dress at work! Fabric is soft and not too stiff.

It's Not a Robe
January 25, 2021I was looking for a red coat and came upon this one for a great price at J Crew. I read the reviews... honestly the "it looks like a bathrobe" really put me off. But the price was so amazing that I thought I didn't have much to lose. I got the coat a couple of days ago and it looks and fits exactly like the picture. It's a wrap coat, and if you don't like that style or think it looks like a robe, don't buy it. I love it. Very vintage, beautiful color. I would have given it a 5 in overall quality but the lining is not perfect, but it is very good. Glad I bought it.

December 25, 2020I am not kidding when I tell you that I opened this gift on Christmas Eve, put it on, and my whole family thought it was a bathrobe. We all got a good laugh about a bathrobe costing $398. I gave it 2 stars because the red is a beautiful color. Actually red -not orangeish- like I get a lot when I purchase something I think is red online. Regarding the fit...the top is bulky and then around the hip area it is smaller in a weird way. I don’t like the fit. Also the material is not soft. It is stiff which doesn’t help the coat conform to my body which is what a wrap coat needs in my opinion. Definitely getting returned which I am bummed about especially because I love the color.
