Cotton voile sun dress in vintage floral

This dress is really pretty, but I was surprised to get it and find that the quality was lacking a bit. It's made well, but it's VERY thin and a bit sheer when light hits you at the right angle. It's lined, but you'd never know it by feeling it (it's really that flimsy). I was surprised to see how much it cost at full price, and I'm happy I got it on a sale. Overall, the design is really lovely and flattering, and it runs TTS, maybe a little large. I'm usually a L in tops, but had to get a M in this since L was sold out, and the only reason it works is because of the smocked back, allowing for extra stretch. I would have preferred the L, but I can make it work. Overall, I'm happy with it.

Similar to another dress I ordered at the same time from jcrew, the quality of the fabric, cut, and sewing is terrible. It feels like it could rip very easily at a seam and some of the seams are already pulling open. The sleeves are awkward and the neck line is super low cut and really Unflattering. Really disappointed in my last few purchases from jcrew and going to take my business elsewhere. The two dresses I purchased were final sale and now I’m out all that money. I see why they wanted to get rid of these dresses.

I was watching this dress for a while, once it went on sale I was hesitant to order because it was Final Sale. I'm glad I ordered it, I ordered my regular size in J Crew Dresses, XS (or size 2). The neck line is adjustable with the tie in the front and the sleeves and back are so pretty. The print is prettier than the picture. This can be worn casual or dressed up. I am 5'1" and 130. Happy I purchased another beautiful J Crew dress!

Love the dress and looks super flattering, even after a big meal haha! Do know that the material is cotton voile and hence super light.

This is the best dress I've purchased in a long time. The fabric is a dream--lightweight and breathable. The neckline is super flattering and the tie makes it fully adjustable, which is nice. The smocking in the back helps ensure a good fit--as someone with a 32DD bust I often struggle with fit on dresses with empire seaming, but this dress fits me really well.

I also bought this dress on sale - a pre-season sale. So glad I did! Yes, it is exactly as pictured, and it's simply lovely. Go for it!
