Small Montauk tote

It's very useful for many things. I throw all my "take with me in the car stuff" in it for running around for the day (store returns, cards to mail, water, lists, hat). I'd like it better without the studs (personal taste), a stiffer bottom so it stands up, stiffer handles so the stand up a bit better. I have at least a dozen J Crew totes of variovs sizes and materials from the last 30+ years. This one fits right in with my others.

I first ordered the mini and it was a joke. I could not fit my phone in the bag. I ordered the small after carefully checking the measurements. Now that is the problem the tote I received measures 13'' wide and 8'' high. This tote is well made and looks just like the larger one I ordered earlier but too large for my needs.

Saw this tote in store and had to get it. The small is a perfectly-sized causal summer tote and fits everything essential. I painted it to make it unique

I thought I was ordering the canvas bag shown with the green bottom, the same green color straps and the name Mom written in the same green. What I received was the canvas bag with the green bottom shown in the picture, navy blue straps with red stitching and a different non matching green color used for the word Mom”If the error was mine, It was inadvertent because I couldn’t find the green bottom color shown in the color chart, and I couldn’t get an answer in the chat. It was to be a gift for a new Mother, and I gave it to Housing works. So disappointed, should have gone into the shop to order. Thank you

This tote was the perfect size for me. I can fit my wallet, sunglasses, makeup bag, phone and still have room for more. I love the monogram. Its a very classic piece!

Did not realize how tiny this bag is. Small enough for a child to wear for dress up.
