Slouchy boyfriend jean in Rocky wash

These are very cute and trendy. Fit can be tricky - I decided to go for a size smaller than what I would usually get (jeans size 27, size 4/S), so I got 26 in these ones, and they fit well - not small and not too big. I am 5'5, 135lb. There is no stretch in these at all.

I wear a L/10/30 in all J Crew bottoms, which is what I ordered in these... I have a slim waist with wider hips and a booty and, sadly, these did not work for me. I knew it was a risk buying them, but they're SO cute I really hoped they'd work out. There's actually not much stretch to these, which makes them too snug around the thighs, which is not what you want in a boyfriend jean. Also, the waist gap was INSANE (worst ever). And, I know if I sized up they would be too big. :-( I really wish J Crew would make their curvy jeans in other styles besides skinny...it's so hard to find looser fit jeans when you're "pear shaped." J Crew - make a curvy boyfriend jean!!! We want to wear styles other than skinny!

Typical boyfriend jeans that are tight in the thighs and loose on the waist which gives me a slight gap in the back, but I’m okay with it. The denim has very little elastic so go as small as you can as they’ll stretch during the day. The distressing is amazing, great looking natural holes on the front and the chewed up hem on the front of the ankles is perfection. So cute for summer with sandals and a tank! For reference bought size 28 and I’m 5’6 150 pounds and not much booty.
