Puffer vest with PrimaLoft®

I'm disappointed with the quality of this vest. The sizing runs large and boxy -- which I could deal with. But one run through the wash (on delicate, low spin and extra low dryer heat) and the stuffing is all bunched up in random areas and non-existent in others. That is not the quality I expect from J Crew.

This vest reminds me of the old Seinfeld episode of the ‘gortex jacket.’ Anyhow, I was pretty surprised when it arrived at how puffy it is. I ordered the yellow because I love that streetwear look and it was on clearance, but it was even too ‘street’ for me lol. I looked like a giant jar or mustard. It was jus sooo big and puffy. It was very well made but I should have sided down. I am going to try again with a smaller size and a darker color. For reference, I am 5’6” and 145 pounds with an average b cup chest and straight (non curvy) figure. I am usually a solid medium and rarely if ever size down. But I just want to look less puffy so I am getting a small the second time around. Fingers crossed it will work better than the medium did.

Ordered this vest on sale. Color is beautiful, but it runs large. Purchased my normal size, but it was too bulky. Went to exchange for a smaller size and the Fair Oaks location refused to exchange for a smaller size because it was purchased on final sale. I now have something I can not use.

This vest is true to size and a great color but the inside color is yellow, a true disappointment. You can see the yellow by the collar but why would you make the entire lining gold- yellow unless you’re a Green Bay packers fan? Major over-site on this one.

I purchased this vest in the icy orchid and i love it. The only thing I want to mention is that the front zipper and snaps are asymetrical. At first i thought it was a defect but i looked at the yellow color online and saw it was made that way...a little off to the side....i still love the vest and the color....will keep....anybody else notice this?

like another reviewer, i was in-store doing some returns and window shopping and stumbled upon this vest. i didnt *need* it so i left it at the store. but black friday got me and i purchased it and have worn it while WFH every day since. i got the lilac. definitely size down. i'm 5'5", 125lbs, got the XS.
