Slouchy boyfriend jean in Bright Indigo wash

Love that they remind me of my favorite pair of jeans that I kept for 20 years. Comfortable and stylish. I purchased 2 sizes down and they still slouch, if you want extra “slouchy” I would recommend to purchase 1 size down.

I always read reviews before purchasing regardless of the item, so I was excited about all the positive reviews. I wear between a 29-30, 5'6 and 130 pounds and these are HUGE!! I mean HUGE! I put them on and they fell straight to the floor. It's not just the waist, but every where. Normally this would be a good thing -equal amounts of room, but not the case this time. I just paid $100.00 for a pair of jeans I cannot exchange or return. My mama and daughters are smaller than me, so I cannot even pass these down. Perhaps I can shrink them in hot water , then in the dryer and find a seamstress who can take them in so that I can wear them and not be out of money.

Once again, vanity sizing takes over. Yes. I get that these are supposed to be slouchy and bigger, but swimmingly so? The fit guide said to get a 27 - I’m a solid 4/6 who only recently started wearing 27 from 28. I got the 27. It’s way too big and sadly I can’t exchange for a 26. If I could, I might love these. Alas, no dice.

Because previous reviewers mentioned some size issues, I tried these on in a 25 (my typical size) and a 24. The 25 was *insanely* big - I looked and felt like a clown. Obviously these are supposed to be slouchy, so I wanted a baggy fit, but the problem was the waist, not the legs. They were so giant that the top of the waistline fell almost to my hips. Since these are a high-ish rise, that meant the crotch landed way too far down, and the overall length and cut of the jeans were just all wrong, even though they would have been great if the waist were cut differently. The size 24 was closer to TTS. A 24 is usually too snug on me to be comfortable, and these were just about okay. I just didn't get them because I was worried they might shrink with a few washes, and they were a final sale. Ultimately I got the slim boyfriend in a 25 (my regular size). The denim feels different (the slouchy is 100% cotton, the slim is 99%) but the slouchy just wasn't going to work for my shape.

I was looking for a pair similar to one previously purchased years ago that now aren’t so baggy and comfy. These are not it! Feel so heavy and the legs are enormous. The waist in size 28 fits. I’m 5’3 and 138 lbs. I desperately want to return.

Not sure who’s giving all these 5 star reviews but these make me look like a dump truck! I normally wear a 27/4 and ordered my usual size and they are not at all flattering and of course a final sale so no returns!:-(
