Wanted to love it…
August 14, 2022Normally j crew swimsuits are my go-to. Best fit and quality. I was disappointed with this item. The waistband pulls down so that the lining shows, all the way around. It’s as if the outer fabric has more elasticity. Also it’s actually baggy, even though it’s an XS. The style states it’s “cheeky”, but it looks baggy and frumpy. I have narrow hips proportionately, but I am by no means underweight or bony. I was hoping this bottom would show my assets. Combined with the lining that flips so that it can be seen, I am dissatisfied with my purchase. And of course, it’s unable to be returned due to it was on sale. I can usually count on j crew to be better. Sorry for the poor review.

Weird construction
August 11, 2022The seams are sewn in such a way that the very conspicuous liner flips out and shows with the slightest movement. It’s very weird and quite ugly, but I might be able to put a stitch or two on the waistband to keep the liner from rolling out. I shouldn’t have to tailor a J. Crew swimsuit.

August 8, 2022I don’t love super cheeky bottoms but these are so perfect. Depending on how how they are on your waist the cheeky-ness will kind of range. I love these and they are a staple for me!!
