Ribbed curved-waist cheeky string bikini bottom

I ordered this ribbed bottom to match the ribbed one shoulder top after the ribbed hipster with full coverage had zero stretch and cut oddly into my hips. I am usually a size small or 26/27 in J.Crew items, and consistently order mediums in their swim bottoms. I put this on and adjusted the ties repeatedly. I could feel the rear of the suit trying to slide into the abyss in the center every time I moved. I tried loosening the side ties, but because there’s no stretch in the actual suit fabric, it just falls off. They either migrate to your crack with every movement when tied tightly or just slide right off with any give on the ties at all. Now that I own 3 items in this ribbed swim fabric, I give them all a big thumbs down. If you’re looking for something apart from the fabric being absolutely plain, I recommend the textured plunge tops and textured bikini bottoms. They fit way better than any of the ribbed items.
