Poor quality disappointment
November 21, 2022This piece from the much ballyhooed fall collection caught my eye with its look as well as its promise of quality as trumpeted in media coverage (NYTimes, GQ). The color is lovely but the material is THIN and the neck stretched out after one wear. The sweater has little give and is very form-fitting--not for layering with a shirt underneath. Tightly knit with a minimum of the "hairy" effect promised in the description, it comes across as a cheap imitation of the Ivy-style classic.

Fit and feel is so on point!
November 15, 2022I think i got the last grey one in stock, thankfully because i love it! The brushed wool is sooo soft and the fit is great. It hangs really well with a button down under it. It doesn't bunch at the bottom like some jumpers do. It's very lightweight too, but also warm. 10/10 would recommend.

I have concerns about durability after one use.
October 25, 2022I bought this sweater because I like the horizontal stripe. It harkens back to the J. Crew of old. Which is maybe why I find myself returning to the brand after being away for a while. However, I was very disappointed at how horribly pilled this sweater was after just one wearing. I maybe had this sweater on for five hours and wasn't exactly doing anything strenuous or active. And the next day when I looked at it there were large pills all over it. Disappointing.

A great autumn sweater
October 6, 2022I love the yarns used in this sweater. They are so soft and yet not the usual itchy wool. Also, so many colors to choice from. I was just a little disappoint in the size. It was slightly oversized and I wish I had purchased a medium but I'm sure as the weather turns colder the slight oversize will help with layering underneath. That said I hope it doesn't get too cold this year.
