Pretty navy cordoroy skirt!
December 28, 2023Beautiful skirt. It ran a little shorter than I expected -- but still very very pretty. Great cordoroy. Very nicely made. True to size -- but if you want a little give on waist - I'd size one up. Gorgeous skirt -- great for work or going out.

Great skirt, a bit short
November 18, 2023Love the velvety corduroy and deep color! It is well made. As a short curvy girl, the fit was fine and maybe a bit loose in the waist and tighter in the hips. As a 47 year old, the skirt is a bit short and I will try it with tights to keep it more modest. Love it, but not five star worthy.

Runs Small
September 21, 2023The other reviews report this skirt runs large, but the two sizes I received don't fit. I ordered both a 10 and a 12. I was looking forward to the skirt, i like the length and material, but sizing is way off if the 12 doesn't even clasp. I have a 31" waist. I am a 10-12 across the board, even in other JCrew items. I don't think I'll go to the trouble to try the next size up. I am frustrated and it's not worth it at this price point.

The fabric is interestingly good!
November 16, 2022I feel like this is a upgraded corduroy its not as cottony and has a velvet feel to it/ I am not sure of fit, its a wider waist and it seems to need a tad bit more room in the thigh area to be an A line. its like a straight skirt with a flare. I am happy with my purchase however and will see how this looks with a longer sweater coat like shown online.

So weird, don’t buy.
November 8, 2022I have no idea whose body this works for. I am a curvy 24w and it looked awful on me. I gave it to my friend who is more straight up and down 24w. She looked terrible too! The WORST part is J. Crew doesn’t carry plus sizes in stores. So I have to buy online without a chance to ever try on in person and I’m stuck with your product that’s poorly designed it seems for every consumer, but yet fat women are denied the chance to ever try on in store (God forbid you see us in your store) and you take our money with no opportunity for me to ask for a refund again, since J. Crew doesn’t allow fat women the dignity to shop and browse and shop in store. We are regelated to our homes in shame. And stuck with subpar products. Overall, I would not recommend this product or anything you can’t return if you are plus size.
