Classic-fit drapey cupro shirt

I love wearing this blouse.

I usually buy size large tops, I am about 150 lb, 5'1 size 36D bra size. I ordered a size 10 in this shirt and it fit quite well. A smidge tight on the breast area but it isn't pulling on the buttons or anything. Arm length is great. The drape of the fabric is nice and it feels silky smooth. I really like the cut and feeling, if only it weren't see through. I wear a white bra and you can completely see the bra, same with a skin toned bra. The only way to wear the shirt is with an undershirt/camisole or something over it like a sweater vest. If you don't mind showing your bra then the shirt is great. This shirt would be better in a dark color or if it was less transparent. Don't go for ivory white.

I love the multiple stripe colors on this button-up. The one nagging thing for me is that the material wrinkles so easily. I steamed the shirt in the morning, wore the shirt untucked and sat down at my desk. The next time I got up the whole front bottom hem was wrinkled. I'd suggest only wearing it tucked in so you can hide the wrinkles.

I love the fit of the blouse and the fabric. I received a lot of compliments when I wore it.

Fits TTS. The rich colors and the pattern are stunning. I admit I had no idea what cupro was, still not quite sure. When I recieved the blouse I was taken aback by the feel of the fabric. It felt sort of rubbery and like it would make me feel over-heated. I decided the feel of the fabric was too distracting for me to wear comfortably, so I returned it. If Jcrew had a top with an identical pattern and colorway in a drapey material, other than the current, I would buy it.

Nice cut and fit. I buy usually a 4 slim and in this bought a 2 so it would look best under a cardigan. If I had wanted a more relaxed look I would have gone with a 4. It’s mind of difficult to iron but otherwise really attractive, so I bought 2 m. On sale.
