Elsie made-in-Italy slingback pumps with crystals

I was attracted to these shoes when I saw them and bought them on sale. J.Crew was kind enough to let me exchange for a smaller size. I ordered my usual size 8 but they were way too big, so I don’t know why other reviews said they ran small. I ended up with 7 1/2. Anyway, are they summer since they’re made of canvas? The sparkles make them seem more dressy. Guess I’ll have to pull a Carrie Bradshaw and wear them with rolled up kakis? Or dress them up with a silk skirt. Anyway, if you get them on sale they are definitely cute.

I have bought many many many shoes from J Crew and have always worn either a 9 or 9.5. I desperately wanted these heels and ordered the 9.5 (review said to size up) and they are too small. I ordered on Final Sale and could not return. I then ordered the 10, also on Final Sale, and they too are way to small in the toe bed. As cute as it is, this shoe is not worth the risk since they cannot be returned. Too bad - they may be the cutest shoes i've seen in a while!

Absolutely love these! Order up just half a size and they fit perfectly.
