Collection puff-sleeve V-neck maxi dress in drapey floral

I saw it online and ordered because of the vibrant colors but the fit was great. Im 5’5 and it just hits my ankle , not sure about other reviewer saying they had to alter the length. I didn’t have to do anything except wear a white slip underneath as it was too low cut. No way was the neckline a deal breaker, i would buy in different colors.

The model must be very tall. Its very pretty but needed altering. I re-hemmed the dress to removing 10 inches. I still may go shorter. I also snugged up the neckline. Its beautifully low but not right for me. The dress fits well otherwise.

This dress is so fun, elegant, and flattering. I feel so confident in it. My body is pretty straight but this dress gave me a defined waist. The neck cut is pretty deep but it’s so well done. My chest is on the smaller side so I’ll probably use some fashion tape just to be safe!

So I was hoping to wear this dress for my daughter’s high school graduation, but as you can see from the pictures I’ve posted I think she might be horrified if I showed up wearing this. The dress is extremely low cut, not conservative like on the model! I bought this as a final sale and can’t return, but not sure that I would even if I could. My husband and I have a vacation planned and he is insisting that I pack this dress… go figure. So ladies, if you’re willing to be a bit daring I promise you that your husband will love this dress! For reference: I would say that this dress fits true to size, maybe a wee bit big. I’m 5’3”, 34D, weigh 130 and bought a size 6. I typically wear a size 6 or small in all J. Crew blouses and dresses. With a 2” sandal on the dress doesn’t need to be hemmed, hits right at ankle.

I really appreciate the reviews that folks leave and I thought I’d add my thoughts because I am pleased with this dress. It’s true: the neck is very low. And the model photos don’t make this clear, which yes is annoying. But it works for me, and with a little boob tape there would be no worry about exposure. I have a 32F chest, and I don’t wear a bra with this dress. The structure of the cups are supportive. If you have a smaller chest I can see how this would not work without a tailor taking in the chest fabric. The print is feminine and gorgeous and I love the drape of the fabric. I’m 5’11 and it hits at my ankle. The puff sleeves are fun too and well done!

I am 5'6" tall. This dress dragged on the floor when I wore it barefoot. It was exactly floor length with 2" heels. In order to get it to look like the length shown in the photo I had to hem it by 10.5 inches. Also, the neck is open all the way to the waist. There is no way you can wear a normal bra with it. I took some of the fabric that I cut off the hem and made a modesty panel that I sewed into the front of the dress. to cover my chest and bra. With those modifications, I think the dress is stunning. I love the color and pattern. The fabric has a nice hand and drapes beautifully. The sleeves are so cute, and the A-line design makes you look like you have a teeny tiny waist.
