November 10, 2023I read all the reviews for these pants and ended up ordering a size 10 since similar body types had said they ran small; not so for me and I had to re-order in an 8, my normal pants/jeans size. I am 5'8", 42" hips I think. The 10 had so much fabric in the back for me and I am glad I chose to try the 8, which was much better. You may need to size up based on your booty. The quality is there and I would expect it to be for how much these are. I wish they were not excluded from all promos, even my $25 birthday reward could not be used towards these purchases so it's frustrating having to pay full price.

A Nice Quality Pant
October 28, 2023I purchased the grey pinstripe pant last year and loved them so much, I told myself if they came in navy, I would purchase those. I initially, based on the reviews that the pant ran small, ordered a size 2 and size 4. As it turns out my regular size 0, was perfect. I am 5'4" and weigh 102 pounds and generally wear a size 0. I will wear these a great deal, thank you J. Crew!!

October 21, 2023Nice lightweight feel made of quality wool that looks great with the matching boxy blazer. runs small in the hips and surprisingly short in the rise, so size up if you are curvy and want it to look as pictured. 5'5 and under will need hem shortened.

Disappointed, but less so than in the blazer
October 17, 2023Mis-advertised: pants, like the matching blazer, are not 100% wool. Rather the shell is 99% wool, 1% “other fiber”—and the lining is 100% polyester. Especially for the price (quite a bit more expensive than wool pants from other brands that do not use poly even in the lining!), these pants really should be of higher quality. As well, what’s up with the lack of petite sizing for this style? Does J.Crew think that short / small people do not deserve their ‘Collection’ pieces? That’s an entire not-insignificant demographic that they’re excluding. Avoid.

Stick with your normal size or size down
October 6, 2023I am usually between a 2 and a 4 in J.Crew Pants, but more often a 2. I ordered a 4 after reading reviews that the pants run small. Ha! They are hilariously large on me. Like clown pants. I am sizing down. Advice: Just stick with what you would usually order and go from there. Otherwise, lovely pants, stunning.
