October 14, 2024I had really high hopes for this bag as navy and white are my favorite colors, but the “snakeskin” throws it all off. At first glance it looks embossed, but it’s really just a cut print in the leather that does not seem durable and the little “points” are like a bunch of little flaps that catch on things. The gold hardware is a nice touch, but I would’ve preferred if this bag was made from standard leather instead of the fake snakeskin. Even buying it on sale for a reduced price, if I had the ability to return it I would have. Disappointed that this is not up to the usual standard for J. Crew’s leather goods.
