Engineered Garments is recognizable for its distinct aesthetic that merges Japanese craftsmanship with vintage workwear, Ivy League classics and outdoor gear. Over the last 25 years, the brand has earned a devoted following (including our design team) for its unique designs, functional details and eclectic mix of fits and fabrics. For our new exclusive collaboration, we worked with Daiki and the Engineered Garments team on creating an original approach to the intersections of New York City and New England style. These relaxed, double-pleated chinos take inspiration from classic Americana and collegiate prep trousers. Each pair features details like affixed cuffs, a coin pocket and an interior drawcord for the perfect fit. Double pleats were a hallmark of men's trousers during the 1940s, with the extra pleat providing more room to move.
