Knee-high round-heel boots in patent leather

I got load in by the sale price. Well, there is a reason for the sale price. I have very small feet. I wear a size 5 but really I’m actually a little bit smaller than a size 5. I also have extremely skinny ankles and calves. I have almost no calf muscle. These shoes are almost impossible to put on for me. I am able to get them on with a lot of effort and they are also extremely hard to get off. The shoe itself with your foot goes is not what’s too small. It’s trying to get your foot and ankle through the entire shaft of the boot. these shoes are completely impractical and not made for somebody with a normal human foot or leg - so be warned. I really can’t believe that they are even selling these.

I bought these boots in a size larger than I usually wear with the expectation the boots would be too tight. I have average calves and normally purchase my boots a half size larger. I regret not buying my true size or a half size up. For reference I am size 7 and purchased size 8. I can wear them, they look ridiculous. I would size up a half size.

I’m mad with myself for not fully reading the description. I didn’t realize it was a slip on boot which makes ZERO sense for a tall boot! Even if you size up you can’t fit your foot in it. Jcrew knows it hence why you can’t return or exchange. Now to spend $$ on adding a zipper 🤦🏾‍♀️ I gave it a 3 star because it’s a cute boot but makes no sense that they didn’t add a zipper.

I love the look of this boot just wish that it had a zipper. I have a narrow foot so this boot works great for me. I would not recommend for anyone with wide feet or legs.

Comfortable and chic. They pair well with a longer skirt/dress or miniskirt and tights.

Bought these to wear with a dress. Great fit and look, but they were a bit too high and bulky for the look I wanted. I will still keep them for future outfits.
