Needed to Size Up
January 14, 2026I bought my typical denim size in Jcrew and found this to run much smaller than expected. I like the colors and style but I had issues with the sizing and the way the skirt lays. Perhaps because it fit a size too small, but you could see the shorts on the side opening and that didn't flatter me. I like skorts, but I don't want to look like I'm wearing a skort. This made it very obvious.

Very cute!
November 16, 2025I was hesitant to purchase because my size (4) was out of stock and I'm usually pretty consistently a 4 in J.Crew. I ended up ordering the 6 at a great sale price and figured if it doesn't work I can give it to a friend. I got the dark wash. It is ADORABLE. While a smidge big I think it actually works better, perhaps because the skirt part can lay better vis a vis other comments about it not sitting right? I did not have that experience with this. The skirt does sit a little lower on me but it's also very comfortable. I am in my mid 40s so I remember wearing skorts back in the day. I really love and appreciate the quality on this one. Great easy skirt
October 12, 2025I love this skirt. So cute and flattering. The only reason it is ranked 4 stars is because it does not look exactly like it does on the model. It is not cinched tightly at the waist, it is a bit bigger. But the color is pretty and it is flattering. I wear mine with a sweater and ballet flats or a J.Crew button down and Mary Janes- go for a tight fit button down. Also, I probably could have sized down in the skirt for a tighter fit

Skorts are back
September 26, 2025This is an excellent way to step up a summer outfit while still being casual. It definitely fits a little tight if you have curvy hips, but it has a decent amount of stretch for denim. The only thing it’s missing is a pocket!
