Nostalgic for the one-piece suits of 2010s!
1 week agoI have some old J. Crew swimsuits with a similar shape that I absolutely love (I probably have it in 10 colors). I bought two of these swimsuits because it’s the exact colors I needed and I was hoping they would be exactly like my favorites. I should have paid more attention to the negative reviews. My review: - butt is cut too high - back is cut way too low and wide, giving an unflattering peak at my love handles - the torso is short, causing the scoop neck to drop far too low (and I have a short torso), making the shelf bra completely ineffective - at the same time the shoulder straps slip, like there is too much distance between them (ie designed for someone with very broad shoulders). Suit is both too small and too big at the same time - I am 5’7”, 135 lbs, 36B bra size, carry extra weight around my middle. Purchased normal size 8 Another swing and a miss for J. Crew. Bring back your classics and your quality!
