Alex Eagle X J.Crew denim jacket

I purchased this jacket on sale and love it! The denim is very high quality and the cut and fit is perfect. Definitely not your average denim jacket - much higher quality! I took a size smaller than my normal size and it still has room with a straight fit. Will be a great transition piece!

I went on an alex eagle buying spree during one of JC's many great sales and picked up this denim jacket with matching jeans (in addition to the reversible coat, chino slacks, fitted blue striped shirt, and lambswool sweater), and each garment is a winner, in terms of high quality, styling, fit and fun. I needed another denim jacket like a hole in my head, and frankly, in terms of denim, I am loyal to Levi's. But this denim jacket is like non other. When I first put it on I honestly didn't feel that it was the most flattering because I typically like clothing that is more closely fitted and this is genuinely oversized, but in a good way. I am between S and M at 146#, 5'4" and the S was definitely the right size. If I went smaller, I would not be able to button the jacket. But this is a denim jacket that will definitely age for the better as a pair of boots. The denim is of incredible quality, thick and warm, and I know that the more I wear and wash this the jacket, it will become like a second skin that I grab the way I do my everyday denim jacket. I hope JC continues its collaboration with alex eagle as the line is simply beautiful.

I always wanted a Jean jacket but they never fit right. This one is perfect!

This is a quite-out-of-the-ordinary denim jacket. The denim is beautiful--gorgeous rich blue that almost shimmers and works perfectly with the copper buttons. Cut is slightly oversize and slouchy with a lower-than-usual neckline. I plan on wearing it with everything.
