Berkeley small shoulder bag in studded leather and suede

Love it for a casual brunch

I already had a suede Berkeley mini shoulder bag and knew as soon as I saw the raffia version that I wanted it. The bag is a great size and very functional for me. My one criticism is I don't really find it to be a shoulder bag. The long strap on the shortest setting is still more of a crossbody length, and the short strap for me is too short for over the shoulder.

I have been looking for a raffia bag to add to my Summer bag collection. This is this one is a great style for everyday, a fair price point, well made. On the downside, the leather shoulder strap should either be a bit longer or have an extra hole on each side for it to fit comfortably under your arm as a shoulder bag. It also lacks a lining (which I knew about based on other reviews), but I will probably have one made at a low cost.

I like this bag overall. On pics it looks like it’s suede leather, but it’s not. It’s very versatile and color pink can match many outfits. Small-ish but very roomy. Love that the straps are adjustable and that there’s additional long strap. Jcrew, I keep waiting for that true bubble-gum pink colored mini top handle purse. This pink is nice but definitely very light/neutral. Removed a star because the shape doesn’t always keep up unless you have a lot of things in the bag.

I brought this to match a pair of sneakers. The bag is small but just the right size for all of my day to day essential. I love the butter soft leather.
