Chateau parka in Italian stadium-cloth wool

I got and awesome deal on the acorn version of this coat. Upon receiving it, I was positively impressed with the quality, the thick wool fabric and the flawless seams. It looks very durable and pretty and it is also lined with a satin like fabric. The color is exactly as the online photos. Imo it is true to size, roomy is the torso area, though I find the sleeves a bit too tight. Nevertheless, I give it a perfect 5. It is made in the Philippines.

LOVE this coat. Feel super high quality and looks luxurious. I unfortunately ordered slightly too large. I'm 5'10 125lbs and typically am a 2 from J crew. I ended up sizing up and ordering a 4 Tall to account for thicker winter clothes and heeding the advise from other reviewers. I wish I would have stuck with 2. The 4 is not awfully large and I'm still excited to wear, just be cautious when picking your size!

The stock picture does not do this coat justice! It’s absolutely stunning! I sized down and went with petite. I’m 5’2 and about 130lbs, bust is 36A. I normally buy a size small or a size 6 in most J. Crew items, but after reading the reviews I decided on a size 4 petite. Fit perfectly with room for a light sweater underneath. I bought the acorn color and it’s even better in person. It looks a tad gold in the stock picture, but IRL it’s a very nice tan color. I would definitely recommend this one!

This jacket seems very well made and warm. The wool is gorgeous. I really wanted it to work out for me but it is just such an odd cut. It’s bell shaped and super unflattering when it is zipped up. You’ll notice most of the models are wearing it open. I ordered a 6 (had been debating between a 6 and an 8–I’m 5’6 and 140lb) and it was slightly too tight in the shoulders but the hip area was incredibly wide and my hips are not slim. Maybe this is the style for some peacoats but I would much prefer something less flared and a little more straight through the body. I ended up returning it.

I rated this coat high, but I had to have it altered as the A-line cut was too wide for me. Now it's perfect! Worth buying and altering it to fit especially if it is on sale.

I’ve been eying this coat for a few years now and was thrilled to get it on sale. It is so well-made, very warm, and super cute! I am usually a 4 in tops, but got the 6 and it fits perfectly. Somehow still shows off feminine curves even though it’s thick!
