Girls' rosette ruffle-trim dress

Dress is flattering and material is light for summer weather; however, WHY does this dress run so small? my daughter could barely get her head through and the arm holes are very fitted as well. She normally wears a 6 girls in just about every brand and I purchased in 7 (wish I would've gotten the 8). She will maybe get 1-2 uses out of this dress, as it fits more like a 6 than 7.

This is a beautiful dress. Nice fabric - fits great. It can be dressed up with shoes or dressed down with sandals or sneakers. The ruffles give it a nice embellishment. Most importantly it’s a win with our 5 year old
