Lambswool crewneck sweater

This is a great looking sweater, on and off, and goes well with jeans, khakis or cords. The quality is great and it's very soft. A little oversized, but, that's what I was looking for: something you would want to wear on a Sunday (and I do, often, and on other days as well). Fit in shoulders and length in arms is very good and despite it being a little oversized, this is definitely a luxury piece that looks very put together when paired with a nice pair of slacks and some oxfords. I have a few, very nice sweaters from J.Crew, all of which I like, but, right now, this is my favorite.

The cut is boxy. Unfortunately it looked short on the body and fit looked strange. if you're not tall and slim, it may be ok. The wool is realy nice. color was pretty as well. too bad it didnt fit well....

HI Bought this for my 5'9 husband, it looked a bit shlumpy. I think if you have a 6'2 frame and broad shouldered it would look better.

I find most brands to run slighter larger in all sizes. I can wear a Medium for the shoulder, but find the body too large, and the sleeve too long, so I choose Small. Then the fit is pretty good. Usually JCrew sweaters fit well. However on this, small is more like a medium. Although NOT that big, so I'm keeping it.

I bought this sweater because i wanted something close to yellow, so i went for the saffron which looks fantastic in the picture. What i got is much closer to orange, which is dissappointing since i already own to wool sweaters in orange. Overall it seems to be a nice sweater, although slightly roomy

Picture of the 'Heather Saffron' looks just like the photo. The way the sweater is fitted on the slim model is accurate, too. This sweater is roomier than what I am accustomed to wearing from J.Crew--I often go a size up (I'm 5'7" and slim). I first ordered in SLIM SMALL; sweater felt like one-size up. Phone agent got me a replacement for a REGULAR X-SMALL. However, the new size is still feeling too roomy. Unfortunately, I don't feel like ordering in another size; I don't feel like waiting another 7 days for yet another replacement. So I'm returning it. As for the quality: the look and stitching is similar to a 'roomy' looking sweater from a higher-end/more expensive retailer. Just not too satisfied on my end, w/ regards to the fit. That's okay. There are more sweaters to come.
