Packable panama hat

The style and shape of the hat is great and will suit most people well. The wide dark gray band brings in a nice touch! The rim has uneven width and edges noticeable when paying close attention, however, this is part of the design and not a flaw. I am a happy customer!

This item is total garbage. There were no reviews when I purchased it and as it stated Panama Hat, I assumed a level of quality. The brim is crumpled and impossible to straighten, giving the appearance of a farmer who just fell asleep, not a sharp Panama style hat as pictured. The crown's interior is full of sharp ends of straw which stab you on the top of your head - this is a double form of medieval torture as your are being lanced while looking like a buffoon. I would love to return this piece of garbage, but as it was on sale, I'm stuck with it. It's interior is so sharp, I can't even give it to the kids to play with in good conscience because I'm worried they'll stab themselves with it. I have been a J.Crew customer for decades and have never had anything this poor in quality and frankly dangerous come across my threshold. For Shame.

I bought this hat TWICE in different sizes. No difference at all between them, except for the label (they run ginormous). At the center of the inner side of the hat, the straw weaving comes together in a medieval torture instrument: spike upon spike of sharp blades pointed right at the center of your head. Granted, I’m balding. But not even my wife (who has a full head of hair) could wear this thing. Also, it flops down like a sad retiree’s bucket hat. Enjoy! PS: very discouraging to read (after typing this) that jcrew will email me IF they publish my review. Wow.

The rims on this is all blended . Wearing it u look like a clown . Maybe I am older and it does not fit an older guy design wise . Who knows. Bought over pandemic no way to return

Have to purchase this item at stores...Doesn’t ship well. Ordered 2 & both brims were damaged.

I was disappointed about the fit and the shape. I’m returning it ASAP.
