December 9, 2024It's a beautiful dress but runs so small in the chest, there is 0 room for me in the top half. Nice weight and detail, a dress for a special occasion, except the whole fitting-into-it part. I bought it final sale, don't make my mistake!

Beautiful lace dress
November 14, 2024Bought both of these in the ivory and black. Size 10. I’m 5‘3“ tall and the dress is very long. It touches the floor if I don’t wear 3 inch heels. But since they were on sale for 50% off. I’m using the money I saved and putting it toward alterations. I plan to get both dresses shortened by 5 inches. So that it would be mid-calf length. The material is thicker and has more structure making the dress feel more formal than lingerie looking. Has a very vintage style. You could dress it down or up, depending on your accessories with it. J.Crew, please offer petite sizes. You’ve got a good number of shorties ready to give you their money.

Stately, Gorgeous Dress
November 13, 2024I had my eye on this since the moment it hit the website. Upon receipt, it was heavier than anticipated. The weight actually allows it to fall so beautifully and the slip attached gives it a bit more warmth heading into colder months. It is a stately, gorgeous dress. I can see myself wearing it for a lot of different occasions!

Love the texture
November 5, 2024Lovely lovely in all aspects. It’s got some weight to it unlike the slip dresses style. I went one size bigger to accommodate my 34DDD bust. So it made the middle part of the dress less fitted. I would try to see if seamstress can adjust it. Besides that it’s golden. I bought both colors. Giving Victorian era. I paired with a sweater to offer more coverage but would buy a satin bolero jacket for dressier events. I’m not big on satin. Tend to avoid it during this era of my womanhood. Happy i gave it a chance.
